I can't do side by side comparisons since my older pictures are on my computer....and I can't use my computer until the virus is off.
So you'll just have to scroll down and see my last photos and try to compare...hope it works and you can see any differences there may be!!
I decided to write a blog about my Lapband Journey. I have read several other blogs that have helped make my decision an easy one, and hope my blog will do the same for someone else.

50 POUNDS LOST!!!!...and maybe at my sweet spot!?!?l
I wrote that title along with a long post on Tuesday....and my ipad lost it before it was posted. I was not a happy camper. My computer has a virus so I tried to use my ipad, but it didn't turn out too well. My computer still has a virus, but my sister from San Fran is here so I'm able to use her computer to finally post.
When I tried to post on Tuesday I had lost exactly 50 pounds....it's 54 pounds lost as of this morning! (265lbs down to 211lbs) I had a .5cc fill on Monday to bring me to 7.0cc in a 10.0cc band. I am a little hesitant to day it, but I might be at my sweet spot!!! I am only able to eat small portions at every meal, need to REALLY follow the "small bites, chew really well" rules or I get stuck. I've been stuck quite a bit. If I stay at this level for the next 3 weeks, I will definitely be saying I don't need another fill at my next appointment.
I'm feeling pretty good about my weight loss and my body as it's changing. It's my 6mo anniversary tomorrow. I guess I need to update with some pictures. I will try to do that tonight or this week.
I've been having a little difficulty lately though. These last few weeks I was between 220-215lbs. All I kept thinking was how hard I have been working on my eating and in the gym. Yet the scale is showing 220-215. That is the weight I hovered around for years and years. All through high school, college and after college this is where I hovered. This last year I really gained a lot which put me at my heaviest ever. But I've been really hard on myself lately. On one hand, I'm thrilled to say I lost over 50 lbs. But on the other hand, I'm right back to where I always was! I hope I can be less hard on myself now that I have broken through the 215 mark and will continue seeing smaller numbers! I don't want to self-sabotage at this point in my journey. I'm trying so hard to be positive with how far I've come. Some days (ok, most days) I'm just beating myself inside. People try to comment to me on how great I look, but I can't accept the comment. In my head I'm saying all these negative things. I'm hoping I can change my thinking and keep moving in the right direction.
I'm still working out with my trainer 2 days a week. The other 3 days I work out on my own. My trainer said he wanted me to do interval training (1 min walk and 1 min sprint as fast as I can) on the treadmill rather than just straight running. So that is what I have done these last couple months. But last week I wanted to see if I could run for 30 minutes straight...no walking...no stopping. I DID IT!!!!! I don't think i've EVER done that before. I was so happy with myself! I've been increasing my speed and time and I'm still alive to talk about it!
I booked my room for Chicago!!!! I am so excited to meet you all! I've been reading everyone's blogs, but I've been horrible at commenting. I apologize!
Happy losing! Keep up the good fight!
